Cheyenne

The Cheyenne inhabited the central portion of the western plains. The Cheyenne were peaceful people often noted for their abilities on a horse. The roles in Cheyenne society were much different than ours today. Men were responsible for hunting and protecting the tribe, and women did everything else!
